Welcome to X on Google Play! We value your trust and strive to provide you with a seamless and secure experience. This document outlines our policy regarding the deletion of X user account.
Account Deletion Process:
If you wish to delete your X user account, you have two options:
Self-Initiated Deletion:
Log in to your X user account.
Navigate to Deletion Policy Page.
Follow the on-screen instructions to initiate the account deletion process.
User-Initiated Deletion Request:
If you are unable to self-initiate the deletion or have specific requests, you may submit a deletion request by providing the following details:
Full Name
Email Address associated with the X user account
Account Username (if applicable)
Any additional information or context regarding your deletion request
Submit the deletion request by Web form as mentioned above.
Our support team will review and process your request within same business days.
Important Points to Note:
Data Retention:
Deleting your X user account does not automatically delete your app data or any other data stored on Google servers.
Data associated with your apps, such as user reviews and statistics, will be retained on Google Play even after account deletion.
Impact on Published Apps:
Deleting your account will not remove your published apps from the Google Play Store.
If you wish to unpublish or remove your apps, you must do so separately before initiating the account deletion process.
Refund and Payment Information:
Refund requests for purchases made on the Google Play Store are subject to Google’s refund policies and are not affected by account deletion.
Ensure that you have reviewed and resolved any pending financial transactions or issues before proceeding with account deletion.
Recovery Information:
Before deleting your account, ensure that you have access to any recovery information (email, phone number) associated with the account.
Account recovery may be challenging once the deletion process is complete.
